Sage Mariness goes to Wisteria, school of magic, where each person has a certain single gift inside of them. Sage has two though, making her a Special. It sounds like a good thing, to be a Special, but it's not. The Survaras (A group of giftless or expelled kids from Wisteria) are roaming around the school. They kidnap and kill any Special that they can. Sage wants nothing to do with them, until she discovers they have something that means the world to her...
