Genevieve "Vi" Dubois has spent most of her life within the walls of London's most prestigious boarding school for young ladies. One Christmas night, she will not only venture outside of her comfortable world, she will learn about a world ruled by magic and about her birth mother, a woman she thought abandoned her many years ago. The more she learns about her past, the harder it becomes to tell the difference between those she can trust and those to want to use her as a pawn.
