Mia Allengale has been a police officer in training for a year. One day, she gets called in to her boss's office. Thinking that this would be the moment where she gets promoted, she's giddy with joy. Yet things take a drastic turn as she steps into the dimly-lit office. Everything she strived so hard to achieve was crumbling into pieces right in front of her eyes. Discouraged and heart broken, she was more than undesiring to step into her new workplace. But her perception of the UDI changes as she gets closer to the unique workers. One in particular manages to charm their way through her broken and mangled heart. With the heavy workflow and potential dangers her new position entails, romance or relationships isn't the forefront of her thoughts. All that gets thrown out the window as she finds herself getting closer to her new workers. Now, she doesn't know what to expect, and life seems to have a fun time throwing obstacles her way.
