Vines and tree bridges can hide many things, including the fortunate and unfortunate realities that may exist on the other side of that door which nature holds close to its chest like some ancient guardian of a precious secret ready to be unfolded at just the right time. The truth behind Lydia was known only by two. I and my dear friend, Tia, in whom I confided and trusted with many confidences. Truth can be a hard thing to accept. Once it is, you are then faced with what to do with it, much like one standing at the gap of an entrance holding back the one thing that can change the world as you know it. And now comes the decision to become a part of a person's world with a focus on what is now, what is to be, and what may become of the new found knowledge and the persons involved in its unfolding.
