Atreos. The very name makes them run for the hills, pleading for their lives to be spared. He is the one who is king and rules all. His very name means emperor of all. The flesh and blood of his being scream defiance and power. With a single glance from those forbidding, sinister eyes, one tethers away to into despair. He has an absence of emotion. Ignorance he reeks of. He spares not a single head, at time of bloodshed. His ruthlessness is all but a sliver that gestures his black ice-cold heart, which darkens by night.
Ruby was all but a worker in the Royal castle. Or so everyone thought. She also has a secret that no one can know about. She would be banished to exile from the Kingdom. She never wanted it to happen.
But what happens when our 'good' King Atreos finds out Ruby's little secret.
And is our ruthless King really that ruthless?
