A young boy lives in Hyrule with a large burden upon his back. He is believed to be the Hero of legend that will seal Calamity Ganon away. With this incredible destiny, he has a hard time measuring up. He joins the royal guard to prepare. Another boy, believed to be a nobody from nowhere, joins the royal guard in hopes of building a future for himself.

As the two boys grow and mature, a contest is held to elect new officers for the royal army and both boys decide to enter. As they fight their way through, the results bring untold consequences.

Zelda and Link have defeated Calamity Ganon and are now free to go their own way. However, it is hard to get to grips with their past, which can get in the way of their present. And as if that isn't hard enough, there seems to be a new threat that they will need to face. **This story takes place directly after Breath of the Wild and has no link to Tears of the Kingdom.

~Having returned after two years, I decided to edit The Heroes' Rebirth. I changed (hopefully) all of the spelling errors, fixed the grammar and changed some of the sequences of events. Peace and rebirth are beginning to come upon the land of Hyrule once again. Zelda is deep in planning of the repair of Hyrule Castle and Hyrule Castle Town, and Link is busy with the cleansing of the lands from monsters. The two have had almost no time together after their fight with Ganon. A lot of work needs to be done to rebuild Hyrule, and to convince others to help will take a lot of work from Link and Zelda. Having all his memories back, Link is plagued with thoughts and memories of the Champions, wishing he could go back in time and save them. He can't focus on the past too much though, because an incredible threat has woken up, and will certainly destroy Hyrule if nothing is done soon. Hyrule needs a hero, and that hero happens to be Link. Takes place after Breath of the Wild. The cover photo isn't mine! All character rights go to Nintendo, but the plot is mineee! A night like any other turns into a struggle for the fate of Hyrule as Zelda finds herself the epicenter of an attempted murder. Needing to escape her assassins, Zelda must place all her trust in the hands of her Head of Security, Link. Time has passed. Hyrule is getting rebuilt. Zelda on the other hand is not quite sure what to do. She is no longer a princess, She's a queen with responsibilities. A dark force is looming. Old friends are getting rediscovered but that boy. That man. Link. There's an unfinished story with him. This is my take on the universe. There will be new characters that aren't canon. There will be a few POV swaps but let's see if I can make this a cohesive story.
