A young boy lives in Hyrule with a large burden upon his back. He is believed to be the Hero of legend that will seal Calamity Ganon away. With this incredible destiny, he has a hard time measuring up. He joins the royal guard to prepare. Another boy, believed to be a nobody from nowhere, joins the royal guard in hopes of building a future for himself.
As the two boys grow and mature, a contest is held to elect new officers for the royal army and both boys decide to enter. As they fight their way through, the results bring untold consequences.
Nintendo owns Legend of Zelda and the associated characters, but the idea is mine.

The Legend of Zelda - School of the Wild
Zelda Hyrule's life has always been one that is not her own. Zelda has always been the spitting image of what her Father wants her to be. She has never broken a rule. That being, never been out past 9 pm, has never cut a class, and most importantly, has never, ever had a boyfriend. She goes to her private academy like her Father wants, and that's the end of her story. However, her fate takes an unfortunate turn when she accidentally gets herself blamed for something she didn't do and is expelled. Now, with her Father furious with her, she has no choice but to finish out her high school years at a regular public school. She has her eyes set on clearing her name, and no intention of staying in this crappy public school. As if by pure sheer coincidence, or maybe it was fate, she meets Link. Link, the silent superstar of the school, who, in her hour of need, comes to her side with no hesitation. She is undoubtedly drawn to him, yet she needs to stay away. As she progresses day by day, she meets a couple of new friends, and even a few enemies. Will Zelda clear her name? Or will she stay in this public dump for a couple of friends and a silent knight? Though they were victorious in sealing the beast, the monstrous servants of the Calamity still linger, and the most of the kingdom was lost to time and taken over by the wild. Opting to forgo their titles and start a new life as regular travelers before starting to rebuild the kingdom, Link and Zelda begin their new life in the Era of the Wild, trying to discover why the monsters still exist. Little do they know, someone might be guiding them toward a quite unexpected trial... The Legend of Zelda: Dreaded Destiny
Link, a naturally gifted swordsman training to become a knight, is plagued with vivid dreams of a mysterious sword and girl seemingly calling to him. When tragedy befalls Hyrule castle just before his knighting ceremony, he learns that it is his destiny to save the world from a new evil. He meets Zelda, a girl with magic unlike any he's ever seen who shares the same responsibility. As they face many trials and discover hidden truths about the world and one another, will they have the resolve to continue their journey? ~~~ Sequel to Hero by Heart ~~~ Link and Zelda have started restoration of Hyrule, and are well on their way to establishing a peaceful, prosperous rule. But what neither of them expected was to uncover secrets that might have been better left hidden. After everything they have been through, it seems like they still can't catch a break, and danger is ever close, lurking around every corner. **Disclaimer: I started this story after the first trailer for TotK, so this is loosely based on those events, but is first and foremost a result of my imagination. Over the course of writing this story, I have added elements from the game as I saw fit. In the end it does tell a very different story.Complete
Blighted Memories
Amnesia was a funny thing. It strips you of all memories, both good and bad. But what it didn't take away from Link was his caring heart. He wasn't a man who had time to deal with or worry about things like memories anyway. All he cared about was doing what was right. But just because Link had no memories, or any interest to reclaim them, didn't mean they wouldn't return to haunt him. Ever since Link woke up, strange things have been happening around the land. Horrific creatures, not quite monster and not quite human, begin appearing at night to terrorize the denizens of Hyrule. Link, not one to simply let such evils do as they please, decides to investigate into the matter as he travels across the land to find a way to destroy these creatures. It should've been just another job for him, just a problem the people needed solved, just another errand for the incarnation of Hylia's hero. But as he investigates, he is haunted by his past. Link's mind cannot remember what happened. But his heart did. He still feels what he lost, what he failed to protect, even after one hundred years. That's what draws something toward Link, the very same evil that created the creatures he faces. It follows and watches him from the shadows, taunting him, waiting for him to remember the past he's forgotten, waiting for the pain to resurface, waiting for the time he can no longer carry the weight of it all. As he journeys on his quest to defeat Ganon and save Princess Zelda, Link must learn to contend with another ancient evil that taints the land, all while facing the ghosts of his forgotten past.
