Children live in a world that we only wish we could explore. It's full of life and love, their hearts as pure as gold, their eyes blind of the cruel and terrifying world that they live in. They make up situations in their heads, they pretend to be princess living in mighty kingdoms just waiting for their Prince Charming to rescue them from all of their troubles. Behind closed doors of their tiny bedrooms, they defeat the wicked dragon trying too scorch the small village, when in the real world all of us are terrified to defeat our own dragons. Often children try to make something out of all the extra imagination in their heads. They make an imaginary friend. Their imaginary companion walks with them wherever they go, they help them accomplish impossible things, but they only last until the child wakes up to notice that they aren't going to be their forever, so they give up. Their companion disappears forever.

How do I know everything about imaginary friends you ask? Well, that's because I am one.

Five Star Reviews for Atlantis Academy: "Omg this book was amazing I couldn't put it down or stop reading. I carried it with me open on my phone while I did everything just to keep reading. I need more of all of this. Epic story, epic content, epic visuals, just epic. LOVE THIS!" "Once I got into this story, I did not stop reading it. This is a beautiful story about a very awkward girl who is riven with so much pain and angst and yet... this makes her who she is and shapes her into the person she will become. The world she finds herself awakened to is magical and yet filled with the all-too-familiar cliques and tribes of the very human people who inhabit it. One word to describe the story: beautiful!" "The story pulls you headlong to the end and leaves you wanting to shout "No! Not yet!" ...If there were 6 stars, I would have given it that." *** Humanity is one secret society away from extinction. The children of Atlantis use magic to keep us safe. If they make it through the Academy. Hi, I'm Lyric. And I'm kind of a mess. ADHD, that's me. I'm a high school drop-out, late everywhere I go, and one screw-up away from being homeless. I'm a loner, and I like it that way. Who needs friends when you have a Redwood forest nearby? Trees never bully me like the kids did at school. Or get drunk and throw things at my head. After my mom died, I figured life couldn't get much worse. I thought it might even get better. Ha. The universe has a great sense of humor. I should've listened to the rumors about evil spirits. About the angry, ancient magical creatures haunting our small Oregon Coast town. But did I? No. That was my first mistake. And it might be my last. 'Cause now I'm in a battle for my life. A whole new world has opened up... a magical world I don't understand. And the blood in my veins says I belong here. But I have to prove myself to save myself. And when have I ever done that?

I'm Finn Vasco but that's not quite important right now. I'm a pretty sarcastic guy if I'm gonna be honest. I'm closed off and I literally only have one friend. I might hate everybody in my school... but there's this guy there. He's... let's say, dreamy, someone who I thought would never even acknowledge my existence. That guy who was too damn good to be true, who was too good for me, who was too good for... everybody! You get what I'm trying to say. He's that cliché king of the campus and a popular and attractive heartthrob and with just one wink, he can send people on their knees... That sounded so wrong, anyway. So can you blame me for being over the moon when one day, he approached me only to what? ...To ask for my help courting my freaking best friend. I knew it was stupid for me to hope I'd even have any chance with him anyway. So I just agreed to help him. Even if I was hurting myself and potentially my best friend in the process, my best friend who has been there with me through the thick and thins, I still did it... I mean what could go wrong besides literally everything? So my plan was to just set my crush and my best friend up, and then everything would be alright... right? But of course, life doesn't like it when people have it easy. *** Highest Ranking #2 on #lgbtfiction #5 on #boyxboy #6 on #gay #8 on #teenfiction *** ~ WARNING: This story contains strong language and bullying. CURRENTLY EDITING Most fairytales start with Once upon a time... and well, this one too, although this might not seem like your typical fairytale... So, once upon a time there lived a young girl in a big kingdom. Well, she didn't actually live in the kingdom, but on an island by the kingdom. This island was more like a prison where all people were banned who were a threat to the kingdom. This girl isn't one of them, but she's the daughter of one of those people. She grew up imprisoned on that island with her friends, Jay, Caros and Evie and honestly, they didn't think it was too bad. But that could also be because they didn't know any better. They'd watch tv and see Auradon, the place where princes and princesses grew up, where heroes were living their best lives, where kids were happily playing in the sun, where people had proper education and had jobs that actually mattered. But for as far as Mal and her friends cared, life on the Isle was good enough for them and they were just going with it, until one day everything changed. They got invited to Auradon by soon to be king Benjamin. It was difficult to change into that lifestyle, but the four vk's hadn't even really come to Auradon to do that. They had been commissioned by their parents to find Fairy Godmother's wand and free the Isle of the Lost, so they could take over the kingdom. They had a plan to steal that wand during the coronation of prince Ben, but during the time in between arriving in Auradon and the coronation, Mal found herself falling in love with the prince. Not only did she fall in love with him, the four vk's fell in love with the kingdom and realized that living there wasn't such a bad idea. Maleficent on the other hand didn't let go that easily and tried to fight them, but together they defeated her and got her turned into a tiny green lizard. And so it all ended well, you'd say. But this was not the end of the story, no, there's much more to come...
