I was with the Resistance, hiding the fact that I could use the Force, hiding my past. And then, it got uncovered, by Kylo Ren, when he interrogated me. And somehow, I survived. But whether my survival was a good thing or a bad thing was yet to be known... Takes place about a year after The Force Awakens (this is an AU). Confronting Fear
"When I offer you my hand again, you'll take it." What if Kylo Ren had been right? What if Rey had taken Kylo Ren's hand when he offered it the second time, deciding her best chance at defeating Palpatine and saving the galaxy was with him? This fanfic explores a different ending to TROS starting at about the halfway point, when Kylo reveals the truth about Rey in the hangar. It will focus mainly on their story but there will be significant plot arcs that focus on Finn, Poe, Leia, and others.
