Leigh Tyler is the younger sister of Max Tyler. She is sixteen when her parents die in a house fire. Leigh was meant to be in the house but sneaked out to a party. She returned home to realise that everything is about to change. Leigh goes to live with her older brother max Tyler. Leigh soon starts Waterloo road school where she mets tom clarkson.

Leigh is struggling with the grief of loosing her parents and the feeling that she is responsible and should of died. Leigh pushes everyone away along with max and tom. Leigh finds herself falling for tom and even though she doesn't want to with the fear of being hurt.

Leigh soon falls pregnant and is terrified of what to do. Will she open up to tom or will she push him away?
