Each Clan has their own advantages and disadvantages, though it seems one is quite perfect. EchoClan, with many great warriors, many cats training or ready to start, and even three medicine cats! But then a strange happening starts in their peaceful forest, creating tension as it seems their leader can't handle the pressure. Meanwhile, the struggling BatClan does whatever they can to survive the upcoming leaf-bare, but it seems their leader will have to take it to an extreme just to live another season.

This is the first part of four novels largely inspired by Erin Hunter's Warrior Cats series. Each book follows a leader of one of the four clans- Springclan, Summerclan, Fallclan and Winterclan. Spring Anew follows Springclan's leader Newstar as he steps into a new leadership role and the struggles and successes that come with it. From gatherings to romances, from fights to starclan prophecies, Spring Anew is an alternate universe warrior cats series. I do not own or take credit for the warrior cats series nor the traditions and culture of the cats within it which are referenced in this series.
