I often look at the obliviousness of kids and wonder what it would feel like to do anything I wanted and not worry about a single thing on Earth. I also wonder a lot about what goes on inside their teeny tiny head and this is  what an 18 year old's perspective looks like.All Rights Reserved

That was also the day I realized something else. They were all around me in the crevices, places I wouldn't even think to expect of, people I hadn't realized were any different. Actors, dancers, musicians, presidents, and politicians. People I looked up to, people I looked down to. Just like me and just like Charley. They think and laugh and love, they're no different from anyone, they had their strengths and weaknesses. They are all abnormal, sure, but so is everything else and everyone else.

For their entire lives, Claire and Sydney have only known the tiny world they live in: a small, picturesque town populated by children and teens like themselves, and caregivers, a man or woman assigned to each child to cater to basic needs and make sure their child doesn't leave the town.
