Serenity is a 17 year old female who lives on the North side of the world. Ever since anyone can remember the world has been split into two regions, North and South, and these regions have been in war for centuries. This war is unlike any other though because it is fought by teenagers.  As soon as your first born child turns 16 they are sent into war and once they die the army takes your next child and so on until they run out. Once you turn 18 though you have the chance to get married and you gain a free ticket out of war, this is the only way that society can keep going. When Serenity's brother dies and she is faced with the dreadful task of going into war can she survive it? Read along to find out ...
