"Would you like to dance?" the boy asks me. I stare deep into his blue eyes, but I can't figure out who he is. He's tall with dark hair and the brightest blue eyes I've ever seen. I know everyone at this school, but with his features hidden behind his mask I can't tell who he is. "Sure, I would love to." Did I just say that? I agreed to dance with a random boy who I don't know. He takes my hand and leads me to the dance floor. We dance for a few songs and then he asks me, "Would you like to take a walk? I know the perfect place." I nod and he pulls me behind him off the dance floor. We leave the hotel and start walking down a little path. At the end of the path I notice a little fountain surrounded by candles. I wonder if he set this up. We walk over to the fountain and we sit down on the edge. "I had a wonderful time tonight," says the guy. He reaches to his face and removes his mask. I recognize him immediately. How did I not know it before? *** Carter Bennett has managed to survive her first 3 years of high school. Everything has been amazing... for the most part. She had her life completely planned out. So there happens to be this guy. Yes, I know. It's always about a guy. Well, she's a teenage girl, what do you expect? But anyway, the guy. He's...nice, supposedly. Ashlynn Johnson, however, couldn't care less about him. Ash, as her friends more affectionately call her, is more focused on soccer than anything. It's Harper that really matters. You see, Harper is Ash's best friend. Now nothing seems bad yet, right? That's where you're wrong. Harper has a major crush on this supposedly nice guy. And, Harper is seriously frightened when it comes to talking to guys. Ash, however, is extremely outgoing and, stubborn as hell, so she does anything she wants. And when Harper pulls the puppy dog eyes, Ash stupidly agrees to help out her friend land this guy. Ash doesn't want to, and knows that all of this is eventually gonna go to shit, but, she has to try. Even if it might all blow up in her face. Which it does. *CURRENTLY UNDER-GOING A LOT OF EDITING*
