Carmin Stone was the Alpha's second daughter... or at least that's what the public and Carmin had been led to believe. During a peace gathering between packs one pack that has never shown up before arrives. The Blood Moon pack is one of the most powerful packs in the country and were once the most terrifying as they were led by a ruthless man. That ruthless man was Jace's grandfather but when he dies and Jace's father takes the position of Alpha he starts to turn things around for the better and Jace now in the same authority, continues what his father stated. Despite the pack having changed immensely the rumors stay the same and the fear towards Blood Moon pack remained in everyone including Carmin. Unlike most people when they're scared, Carmin gets even more sarcastic and snarky than usual and when she meets Jace's it certainly doesn't help her because Jace might be a good guy but he still carries himself with pride. No matter how nice Jace is you don't want to mess with him... even if you are his mate.
