Alex isn't just a girl like everybody thinks she is. Shes a basilisk, a snake, she could kill with just a small glance. She starts at a new high school when she realizes her power, her strength, but this isn't the only realization she comes to in this school. She realizes.... she has feelings for a boy. Just a boy.
