Ruby is a princess, only she doesn't know it, though Natasha knows, mainly because she is with her to protect her by Ruby's parents, the King and Queen of Greenpine. Natasha needs to get Ruby out of the boarding school that the King and Queen sent them to in the enemy country. Greenpine is fighting against Crystalwick and the King and Queen thought that it would be best to put their daughter into that school to protect her from the other country, but they also let Natasha go because she has an eidetic and can remember what to do. After Ruby turned 18, Natasha told Ruby that they have to run away from the boarding school because it was infilled with spies from the "enemy country". They go to a safe house in Greenpine, waiting for someone to come. Ruby's older brother came in and said that they have to walk all the way back to the castle, because the truck that he and another person drove to get there blow up with the other person in it.
