Long ago, in times of old, there was a king who ruled. A lonely one. There were plenty of fair maidens and handsome knights scattered throughout the land, but to the king, they were all the same. One day, he summoned his royal sorceress and asked her to perform a forbidden spell. The spell of ancient summoning. With that spell, you could summon anything and anyone. He wanted to summon the perfect woman from history. The sorceress had warned him of the consequences, but he did not care, for he wanted the perfect mate. He ordered her to make the queen before sunrise or she would be killed the next morning. She baked and brewed all night until finally it was done. She didn't know what she summoned though. It was Nefandus. A fowl demon from the deepest wells of hell. When she was brought up, she was nothing but a pile of moving black sludge and glue. Until she took a vessel that is. She attached herself to the sorceress, took her form and pushed out her soul. She was now a shadow black maiden in a white dress. Her eyes were wide with red lining and a pupil as there only color. A smile with no lips or cheeks was plastered to her face and her limbs were long and thin. She was now the form of Nefandus. When the king came later, she sprayed his eyes with her sludge and made him see a beautiful maid with mint green hair and eyes as blue as the sea. He fell in love with her and they were wed the next day. She soon began to create her children in the cellar unknowingly to him, and when the time came, she killed the king and unleashed hell upon the land. Then one day, three wizards came from the farthest corners of the land, and sealed Nefandus and her army away within a necklace. They locked it away. They thought it was over, but a great flood came, and washed the necklace away. Now she waits, her anger undying and her army long dead, for the next victim to find her necklace and let her take form. Let us pray for the child who has found her finally.

Quickly dumped into a world of supernatural Aurora must find her place despite the fact a possessive werewolf seems to want to tell her what to do. Can she adjust or will she crumble under the pressure? Excerpt: The screams and cries for help faded while silent tears continued to stream down her face. Her hands were slapped over her mouth to muffle any noise that escaped her quivering lips. She wasn't sure how long she was in that pantry but couldn't come out until she was beyond certain that they had left. For a moment, she started to have hope that maybe they wouldn't be able to find her, but a voice spoke up, and fear flooded in once again. "You cleared out the upstairs, too, right?" "Yeah." Another voice responded. There was a slight pause, "Hmm. Then where is that heartbeat coming from, I wonder." His voice had a sickening amusement to it, and her heart rate uncontrollably spiked with the adrenaline pumped through her veins. Was he talking about her? The thought that he could hear her heartbeat was crazy. It just wasn't humanly possible. Footsteps grew closer to the kitchen. Somehow, they had found her. She said one last prayer and goodbye to her life as the pantry opened. "Boo." The man yelled, peering in at her. She was frozen. There was nothing more she could do. She was going to die. "Little Birdy," he stretched out his hand, "come out to play."

Niccola is a demi-queen undercover in enemy territory. Her little sister went missing seven moons ago, but one lead remains: a picture of a woman's face, drawn by a diviner shortly after the disappearance. Tracking her down has led Niccola to Calis, the realm next door whose border with her own remains closed for a reason. There, the trail goes cold. Until, that is, Niccola runs into a man in the marketplace who bears a family resemblance to the woman she seeks. His name is Isaiah, crown prince of Calis, and he's investigating disappearances, too. They join forces, faking courtship to sneak Niccola into the palace and get Isaiah's wedding-minded mother off his back. It doesn't take long to suspect that a common threat might underpin both their realms' problems. And as Niccola begins to develop real feelings for Isaiah, she's faced with an impossible choice: reveal her secrets and risk breaking his trust, or leave him in order to chase down the woman who stole her sister... a woman whose forbidden magic comes with a cost that could bring both realms to ruin. ❖❖❖ Complete and fully edited. "How could you... last night... I was helpless! You are the one who molested me! And you dare do it again now!" she huffed. Khail wasn't affected with her crying. "Yes, I dare. You are just too sweet not to be tasted." His statement rang deep in the back of her mind. These were the words of an insensitive, cold-hearted demon. No more, no less. He was lusting on her --yes he was-- and that was the rightful particular emotion of choice. "I said don't come any closer!" she cried again when she noticed him inching more towards her. "I will stab you! I swear I will stab you demon or not!!!" she threatened, but it was only gibberish talk for Khail. "Nonsense Selene. Stab me if you want," he urged and this surprised her greatly. He continued to close in on her and this time, Selene didn't hesitate plunging the knife into his chest. ~ S ~ Easy for Supernaturals to live their life in what everybody calls 'forever'. That is easy for angels yes, but for demons, it is most likely a damnation of boredom. And that -- is the truth. However, how much more would it be for a demon who has a unique power to wield time and space? What is HE to do with such an unlimited lifetime then? ~ S ~ So this is a 5-part short story about Khronus and Selene that is stand alone but still connects to my book, SANCTUM. Do enjoy reading it and don't forget to comment, vote and share. ^_^ Lovelots, ~J.M. Felic Contains Mature elements. All Rights Reserved JMFelic Books

Elaka was the savior of all humans. She created a boarder and the world was divided in two: The Land of Light; was so peaceful that it had to be shielded from the world. Elaka had put a protective hidden wall around the kingdom so no one would come in unless brought in by the citizens. There were humans that lived there and their lives were a paradise. And total peace. And there was the Dark land. Where every other creature lived. The three major kingdoms tolerated each other for as long as they could. Years passed without war. Until Elaka suddenly vanished. Without her, the world would become chaotic again. The crystal was lost in the forest. So many have searched for it but never succeeded. Even if they ever found it, the legend says it was set in stone. It was glued to a tree and only 'The Diamond in The Rough' could pull it out. That person was never found.
