Fire, Fates & the Crone

Cailleach is known for her cold, for her power of death and destruction in the bitter bites of the Samhain (or, Winter).
She had no qualms in performing her duties until one day during a blizzard when a lost spirit attached itself to her. What had the Fates in store for her? In her experience, coincidences did not exist.
