He stretched his crinkled hand over his head, to show how the dragons flew. "They would glide over the world and land on their tall mountains. Returning home after his long day of flight. Oh, Bean, if only you could have seen it." He shook his head, his light grey, shoulder length hair moving with each pass. "I wish I could see a dragon once more before I die." He took a deep breath. "But no, I cannot."

She never really knew what she was, until she meets a blind PetalWing that claims to have "seen" ancient ruins with strange indents in a different language. Azalea soon travels with the PetalWing Rain, a StoneWing named Serpentine, her best friend and secret crush Autumn, and a bubbly ShadowWing called Sunset. The world may be ending, with Dragonbite Vipers overrunning the continent and MudWings and SeaWings starting a civil war, but they have more pressing matters on their hands... like how only one of the five dragonets will survive the coming destruction. *None of the art is mine except for the cover, tribes, and continent. This story takes place only 10 years after the time of peace began. Hybrids are hunted by all but the Rainwings and the Sandwings. Dragons don't trust them because they don't belong to one tribe. They are sometimes horrible fails, but usually they are powerful dragons with skills of more than one tribe. This scares dragons and has brought them to hunt all hybrids. Follow Abyss and 6 other hybrids on fight to stay alive in the ever more threatening Phyrria. They have no idea of the great and dangerous journey ahead of them. All they know is avoid anyone, trust none, and survive at all costs. Wings of Fire does not belong to me. It belongs to Tui T. Sutherland.
