(Star Trek 2009) Surna, a Science Officer/ Professor at Starfleet Academy. Surna, for the last 5 years, has been bouncing back and forth from Vulcan to the Starfleet Academy. Why? In order for her to stay good with her parents, and the Vulcan High Court, she must return periodically. Surna also has a deeper meaning to why she returns to both Vulcan and The Academy. Spock, her husband to be and long time lover. Vulcan, though, becomes under attack and Surna is sent to the planet to retrieve the High Council, and both hers and Spock's parents. But, as far as Spock is concerned, Vulcan is destroyed, and Surna didn't make it off. What will happen with Surna? How will Spock react?

The USS Enterprise has just finished it's first mission, going under the command of James T. Kirk. Learning of her kidnapping that happened over 8 years ago, they set off to save her. Now with new knowledge of how a rogue Klingon took the children, the Enterprise has faced one of it's most difficult challenges yet. Taking the lost girl under their wing seemed like the logical thing to do, but what happens when they come across several more similar distress calls of the same nature?
