Hanging on the edge she looked up at her attacker. Glancing down she heard one clear voice among the:
"Don't jump"
"Hang in there"
She heard his voice say: "Fall into me, I'll catch you."
So doing that she let go of the edge and fell right into his arms. The arms of the one person she was on the verge of hating.
