(Sorry for the shitty cover I really can't be arsed to make a kool one) 

I don't really know what to say here. 2017 has been a really rough year for me, possible the worst so far. I hit rock bottom more than once and felt like (and still do) my writing's never going anywhere. However, despite the various ups and downs that I experienced over the last shitty twelve months, I feel it was one of my best years in terms of what content I was writing.

I don't particularly believe in all the 'new year, new me' bullshit, and I'm fully under the impression that you can't change your whole life overnight just because a number in the date changes. Regardless, I want to put together a small compilation of the writing I've done this year that I'm the most proud of so that I can look back on it when I inevitably hit rock bottom again in 2018 and have some kind of solace in it.All Rights Reserved

Hi. I'm Jas, and in case you didn't know, I am autistic. I have Asperger's Syndrome. I'm writing this book just so I can jot some of my thoughts down, and so you can see what it's really like to be autistic, well, for me at least. My best friend made a good comparison just the other day, no two fingerprints are the same, just like no two autistics are the same. I hope you'll enjoy this "diary" and no, I will not put too much about my personal life in here unless you deserve to know about something big happening to me. The other juicy deets are for a real diary. However, there will be sneak peeks to some of the stories I am writing within the confines of this so-called diary. I will also be offering random bits of advice from time to time, and you will get to meet some of my developing characters/ocs that will be featured in my future works. Warning 1: My characters and ocs are still in development, so they might come off as Mary-Sueish, and I don't want my characters to be annoying Mary Sues, so feel free to give feedback and/or constructive critisism on them: it would be a big help if you did because your advice would speed up their development and bring you the stories I am writing much faster than it would working on this on my own. Warning 2: This will have a mature rating because I am a huge potty mouth and I have depression so there'll probably be a lot of swearing and angst. Update: I have level 2 autism, as people do not use the term Asperger's Syndrome anymore, but the term Asperger's Syndrome is what I grew up hearing, so that's what I'm going to use.

9 Mile Season 1. Freshman Year by AliMarr

I started writing this my freshman year of high school, all the way back in 2004. I was fourteen. So obviously, the beginning kind of sucks. But I promise it gets better. I guess it's not really novel-esque, but hey, it's my story damn it and I dedicated my whole high school career to this thing. Yes,the names in this story are completely weird, but that is because the majority of the characters are actual people I know, myself included, therefore I have used code names, especially since not everything is true about these people. And also a lot of inside jokes, so if something does not make sense to you, that is probably why. Now I know I am not the best writer, as there have been a lot of pointless, and open story lines, but hey. This was all in good fun. And I am very proud of this story. At least some people think that it is interesting! And yes I have stolen a lot of storylines/quotes from Degrassi. That's because I was obsessed. I truly was. And yes, a lot of things are very unrealistic, but I have also edited the shit out of this story to get rid of some of the dumb stuff my young teenage self wrote. Maybe I could publish this, but would need a lot of editing, lol. Also the name 9 mile came from a dirty joke. If you really wanna know, ask me and I will tell you. So yeah, enjoy!:)

PROLOGUE My name is Alex Kahill. On July 15, 2017, I killed a person, but am not accused of murder. However, I am being hunted by those who hold me responsible for this death...and most certainly, these folks fully intend to terminate my life.
