The world ended for all humans when the supernaturals took over. The lived till they were sixteen in camps were they would work until they die. At sixteen, there was the death games. Once every mate is found the humans who are not mates are killed and eaten by the supernaturals. The humans are who are chosen are bitten, collared, and raped in bloody orgy mass.
