Gabriel's world has just been turned upside down. After finding out some after school clubs aren't just for arts and crafts, he learns what it means to be a Crosser, every day people with the not so everyday task of traveling to Ciethal and Nethal, worlds layered on the earth, and using magic to protect humanity from intrusions. Juggling school and after school excursions, Gabriel's first task to induction is to lead a mission, one that just might get him killed.
