I suck at descriptions. Oh well here goes.
Lance is 'always the reason' why the team fails training and barely complete missions. So when Allura tries memory-melding to get the paladin to bond,  it reveals a small part of Lance's painful past. From there, Lance's daily life aboard The Castle of Lions goes spiraling out of control, and he's forced to deal with the consequences, whether it was his fault or not.

They still have a bit of hope, but after 6 years that hope is dwindling. The blue lion has a new paladin, and the team is moving on. 5 years in the slave trades changed Lance, physically and mentally. He is a new person, no longer the goofy blue paladin he once was. He is now the leader of a year-old group of do-gooder assassins who take down the people who once "owned" them. Their identities hidden, they are known only as the "Deathhawks", and Lance known as "Pike". When Voltron hears about the Deathhawks, they want to meet up and ask them to join the Voltron Coalition. What happens when the paladins meet up with them, "Pike" included?
