Just another poem I wrote on a down day. The purpose was to explain to my future boyfriend why I am the way I am. Not sure if I got that point across but it got out what I was feeling in that moment. I wrote it about to years ago and just found it folded up in a book I was reading. Hope you all like it!

The Knives of My Mind
I'm recently writing a book and to start out, I'm trying out my reach through a favorite app of mine. The title will be the same but I just want to get some reach. This is a book I've composed over the course of me going through my feelings, my grueling healing process and the depressive emotions I've went through before I started healing. I started writing poems because I had to get my emotions out in some other way and poems helped because I got a deeper meaning from them and had to put lessons I learned the hard way in my writings. I feel as if these were meant for those who could under stand my pain and anger at those who did me wrong. I don't care what you think about my writing because it's part of me and this is how i'm choosing to show you who I am. I was bullied. I did have my heart broken. I have came back stronger.
