Alex Rivera always knew he was different. It's been seven years since he watched his brother drown. No one would believe him when he told them that the "accident" wasn't an accident. Now Alex is almost eighteen, having tried to ignore the power that makes him see things, things he doesn't understand for most of his life. But it gets a little harder to ignore when he starts to learn that the world isn't as simple as he thinks it is.
As Alex starts to piece together the secrets of his past, he realizes that he's been lied to for his whole life. When it all comes to light, he finds himself in the middle of something bigger than he had thought. And now it's Alex's turn to make a decision-will he walk away, or will he finally stop running and accept his fate?
