This story is about an 18-year-old girl living in a society that has crumbled. It's set in America, the year 2045. The prologue will give you more of an idea of what this book is about. I love constructive criticism, as I'm really just trying to grow as an author.  I would eventually like to publish this book but wanted to get some feedback here first. Demalynn is surprised to find out she is the Helper, but is astounded to learn the identity of the Gravidarum. Demalynn must battle to stay alive and fumbles towards the realization that Aiden is much more than a close friend. She is certain, with the certainty that only a seventeen-year-old can possess, that Aiden is her only true love. Demalynn is desperate to find a way back home until she must make a choice: stay with Aiden on Saffire or go back home and re-unite her family. There's no place like home.

Have you ever dreamt of a world with no adults? admit it, you thought it would be great right? no-one to tell you what to do or tell you off, but for a young girl of the age of sixteen, this is her life. She must survive to look after her siblings and herself. The world has turned into a crazy place with tribes ruleing and with street fights and the cities damaged. Its a place where kids rule, only its how they chose to survive that can get them through in the end. P.S. the book does get better when it goes further in so if you do read it keep reading for some more action. Its also slightly a romance book as well as a science fiction, Adventure and teen fiction.
