Clay is one of the 6 surviving warlocks in the world. When he is in the middle of training his old mentor Emily shows up wounded. She was forced to go into the Mystic Court one place all demongels hate. After a few months of training his new master Halecorai is taken to the Mystic Court. When he doesn't come back Clay being the stubborn 17 year old he is snoops into other matters of the Mystic Court. The ones they call the courtiers he finds out are the humans or mundanes. Can he convince the demongels to work together to defeat the ones that enslaved them? What happens if he can't save anyone else?
