Jasmine White is an ordinary girl who lives in Blood City, a city that is home to hundreds of vampires. Blood City is located under a small human populated town named Jacksonville. Jasmine's sixteenth birthday comes around, which means she must leave Blood City and go to the human world as a test to see if you have what it takes to become a real vampire. Each vampire must live outside Blood City for five years before returning back to Blood City. Only, it's not that easy, with werewolves, rebellious vampires, and other creatures lurking around in Jacksonville. Jacksonville isn't a safe place for vampires.
