My legs gave out beneath me, and I collapsed to the ground. Sitting there, shaking in shock, I finally understood what he was.

My hand slaps against my mouth as I try to shut myself up. Don't make too much noise...or he'll hear you. A vehicle's door opens then slams shut. I don't hear footsteps...but as the minutes go by I begin to hear them; the footsteps get louder and louder and louder, matching the sound of my thundering heart. That's when I see his shadow cast over the ditch...over the place where I tried to hide. "Well," he says with a smile in his voice. "I wonder where he could've gone...the footprints stop here...so I wonder if he just...disappeared?" My body begins to tremble. I can feel it now. The pain. I can feel the pain already. He jumps down into the ditch...he stands directly in front of me, with his back facing me. My hand presses harder against my mouth as I try to suppress my whimper, but it's way too late now. But his body tenses up when he hears it. He laughs bitterly as he turns around slowly, and his eyes cut through my camouflage easily. "There you are."

"I-I think I'm in love with you." My eyes widened and my breath caught as those words left his lips. It was my worst and most beautiful nightmare coming alive. But I couldn't, I just couldn't. "I-I can't, I'm sorry." I started running away, wiping the stray tears that betrayed me and leaked, with the palm of my hand. I sniffed, feeling a growing pain in my heart. I clutched my chest, barely able to handle it. I kept running, but when I knew I was far enough, I fell to my knees, still holding my chest. That's when I heard it. The sound that shouldn't even be audible was so loud in the still silence that it swayed the trees. But maybe that was just an illusion. Maybe only I could hear it. We came to a stop in front of what looked to be a farm house of some sort? Probably a slaughter house, this is where my life ends. He got out of his car without making a sound and opened my door. "Get out" He said calmly. "W-where are we?" "Get out of the car." he said in a harsher tone. What the hell did I get myself into. A hand covered my mouth. It started pulling me into a room. I tried kicking and screaming but they wouldn't budge. Once we were in the room I noticed four other boys. But not just any boys, the boys of One Direction. Next thing I know I'm pinned up against a wall by the one and only Louis Tomlinson. I tried to push him away but he wouldn't budge. Instead he just chuckled and said "Don't even try love." *This is the first book of the kidnapped by vampires series. Seeing as I wrote this when I was in seventh grade I would like to point out this story does have a lot of grammar and spelling mistakes. So please don't try and point them out because I am well aware of them. Nonetheless, I hope you enjoy the story!*

... "CLOSE THE DOOR!" "I-I- I can't!" I managed to whisper back, barely audible. I waited. I didn't hear anything. I dared to take my eyes off the thing, still keeping my light on it, and look up as far as I could without moving my head. I saw a tentacle, black and white striped, snaking out of the hole in the ceiling, and moving across towards the doors. A white face with black streaks like tears shone down on me, with black holes for eyes, with two little white lights like eyes in them, and a smiling mouth that had the sharpest teeth I'd ever seen. Suddenly, a pounding came from the doors and I flinched- the light fell from my hand and spilled flickering light on the doors. My heart was pounding and felt like it would explode out of my chest. I looked back at the ceiling, and two white eyes glittered at me in the dark.

It was just a normal morning waiting at my school bus stop until everything changed. A rag pressed firmly over my mouth and nose and I was dragged away fighting a losing battle against my attacker as well as my own body. Now I'm in a dark room with no way out and nothing but my thoughts to keep me company. Left to think about what's going to happen when you finally walk down those steps.

"Yea it's painful that he doesn't feel the same way, even more so that I can have such deep feelings for a boy...you know what, my whole body is just feeling painful." And I wasn't joking, my chest my chest was paining me and I found myself not being able to breathe. I was starting to hyperventilate. I could feel myself slipping in and out of consciousness but could still hear faint voices calling out to me but I only use my mouth to grasp for the air that wasn't coming to me. Then everything went dark...
