In the Absence of Faith

Katherine Rosner has giant axonal neuropathy, a fatal disease that left her in a wheelchair before she hit double digits. Now nineteen, Katherine has months at most to live.
A volunteer at the hospital, Marcela, urges Katherine to find some religion to believe in, to give her comfort in her remaining time.
