Life Is A Game || MLP Equestria Girls
(DISCLOSURE: this story is half SoarinDash, half additional plot stuff, which is usually what I do, so enjoy!) Canterlot High thought it would be free after their hectic Friendship Games and their terrifying time at Camp Everfree, and it really did seem like it at the time. For once, Rainbow Dash, Twilight Sparkle, Sunset Shimmer, Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy, and Pinkie Pie thought their junior year would just be school. But things get a little crazy. Again. And it's not all about magic this time. Everyone hoped that Cadence would take over Crystal Prep's principal position, but Cadence never took the role. She got another offer abroad and decided to take it. And the students of Crystal Prep and Canterlot High will face the wrath of Principal Dolores Cinch -- the sister of Principal Abacus Cinch. She wants a rematch of the Friendship Games, with a few "minor" adjustments to the intensity. Dolores Cinch is up to no good. And Canterlot is in for some turbulence. But what's worse? Cinch has her eyes on a certain rainbow-haired girl as the trigger to her plan, whatever it may be. ALSO SOARINDASH!!! This is also a SoarinDash fanfic, haha!

Rainbow Dash can't seem to get it together. Day after day she struggles, unable to take care of herself, picking up the pieces after losing someone close to her. She has started to lose Applejack too, their once perfect relationship has burst into flames, leaving her to chase after a girl who's too stubborn for her own good. Can she fix what they used to have? or, Rainbow healing after the death of a loved one with Applejack by her side. Or at least she used to be. cw: - mental health issues (depression, anxiety, bpd) - mention of death - homophobic families - implied self harm - underage drinking/smoking - lots of arguing - lots of swearing - thoughts of suicide i originally posted this story on AO3, but i decided to upload it here as well for all you wattpad usersComplete
