BRIEF SYNOPSIS: John's inactivity, as a result of penning his latest novel, has given him a bit of pudge. Quite naturally, a jealous Paul takes advantage of this to embarrass his bandmate at a press conference. Caught fast in the clutches of shame, will John ever regain his self-confidence? That's a definite yes, if George has any say in the matter.
WARNING: This fanfiction features weight gain (read Rita's fics for an idea of what that entails). There is also angst and mild depression.

There was the mob, all reaching and grabbing at something on the ground. Usually, the lads from Liverpool are quicker than the crowd, but, one day, the fans happen to grab a hold of none other than The Beatles' bassist, Paul McCartney, effectively beating his body and mind to a pulp. This angst/hurt comfort story tells the tale of Paul McCartney, who has been scarred by the brutality of his attack, and his three friends, John Lennon, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr, who are trying their best to help Paul and his paranoid state of mind.
