Since ancient times, vampires have killed many people, town after town they destroyed, leaving no one. Eighteen ninety-three and the vampires still exist, even with the efforts of the vampire hunters killing thousands every year. There were many vampire clans, but two reigned above the rest, The Ambrogios' and The Cruorems'. Every vampire who treasured their immortal life would steer clear of the two clans, any who had the misfortune of running into them would lose their life on the spot. Like every hierarchy, the two royal clans loathed one another, bloodshed between the two was inevitable. Harlock, the eldest of the Ambrogio family, and Elias, the Youngest of the Cruorem family, destined enemies.
