7 years after the war, Toph and Sokka finally reunite at Aang and Katara's wedding. They haven't seen each other in 2 years for reasons Toph put off to "being too busy with the metalbending academy." Sokka's engaged, Toph has a boyfriend, all of them are successful in their endeavors. But what's missing?
This story is mostly told in Sokka's point of view, and goes through his time realizing he's not as satisfied with his life as he thought he was.
