Children have their own problems, but what happens when they create an even bigger problem? Say... befriending each other? Or maybe even producing feelings for one another? What if those feelings are directed towards people from enemy factions?

As people from different factions, 12 teenagers strive to keep their feelings a secret. Except for the Candors, of course. But, that's only when they need to admit to something.

Before you know it, people from opposing factions suddenly see each other, and we all know we're screwed. But, what happens when the aptitude test comes along? The Choosing Ceremony? How will that affect their connection with each other?

Let's just say their alliance was just as good as gold.
