This is collection of my short stories/writings. They range from romance to teen fiction to poetry to poetry. You may love some and hate the others-that's fine! Please no mean comments. But if you want more a certain genre or sub-genre, feel free to comment what you like or want more of!
Please do not copy my work and claim it as your own whether its for you own personal use (school, make a book, etc.) or to repost on here and/or a different website. That's plagiarism and NOT COOL. If you are looking for story ideas, though, feel free to message me and I can give you some. That's more fun anyways!
Side Note: I do use language and situations that may be uncomfortable for some readers in my stories. This is not to make people feel bad; merely just addressing things society doesn't typically want to.
*I will post once I have a story written. However, they may not be 100% edited, so please bare with me

The Hawaiian Special Forces
This is the story I'm writing for NaNoWriMo 2015. The goal: 50,000 word RAW draft written entirely in the month of November. Unlike most of my stories, which I prefer to edit before posting, I'm actually going to post updates to this at the end of each day in chapter-sized chunks. The idea behind this story is that a terrorist attack in the near future causes the US to go hyper-isolationist, to the point that it abandons Hawaii and Alaska to fend for themselves. They do, forming the United Pacific States (maybe with a few other island countries). Hawaii then goes on to turn itself into the new world police with stealthy, genetically modified cyber-soldiers. I'm marking this story as mature because there will be action scenes, and probably some interesting perspectives on nudity and relationships. I'm not planning on anything explicit, but this won't be a kids book. Validated winner at 50,040 words!Complete
Oneshots and Short Stories
Soooooo I get a lot of random story ideas and I figure at least a few will be interesting to someone else! Hope you enjoy :) Currently in *very* early access so I will edit and tweak and put up stories I do in here as well. Most stories are only 1-2 chapters in, and I just like starting up random stories too, so there will be unfinished chapters etc. Some will also be unedited buuuuuuut yk :| CURRENTLY OTG: What it Means to Feel Crush Next Door COMPLETE: Hate You, Kidding

I'm just doing a thing. This is just a collection of short stories I'm writing everyday and to hold myself accountable to actually do it I'm posting them here, pretty much just putting it in the universe. Not exactly sure what you should expect seeing as I'm just choosing a random prompt everyday and just writing. But, here it goes.Complete

sʜᴏʀᴛ sᴛᴏʀɪᴇs
This is just for me to get the short ideas out of my head when I have motivation. lol. Idk if anyone's gonna read these but here they are. Also I don't know when I'm gonna update this, it's just kind of when I want to. Each chapter is a different story and I'll post these between posting chapters of my main stories. And a TW for anyone who is sensitive to violence or anything scary. Not all of the stories are like this, but a lot of them are probably gonna be pretty messed up. (lol) A lot of these stories is just to get ideas out of my head and it will probably never be completed. Each story is different and there is no real pattern or anything, its just all random. Enjoy, 😃👍Complete
Illogies Un
A few seasons ago, I participated in NaNoWriMo with the goal of writing a story a day for the entire month of November. I was able to do this and ended up with well over 50,000 words for the month. This book ended up with around 43K words, but it is missing a few stories. I didn't want to put anything that goes with "Pearls of the Mother" in the "Illogies." Each day I sat down to write, I had a different mood or something else I was thinking about, and I let that guide my writing process. I think a couple of these may end up with follow-on stories or maybe even books of their own. I hope you enjoy these; I know I do.Complete
Bullied (Bullied Series #1) (SAMPLE)
***Please note that this book has been taken down because it's been published, and you can see only the sample chapters of the published version. You can find the links to both ebook and paperback in my profile bio. ------------- I have always been bullied and trapped in darkness. I hoped life would get better when I moved to my mother's hometown, but it only got worse because it was there that I met my unrequited crush, Hayden Black. He despised me from day one, and even more when I became best friends with his twin, Kayden. Kayden gave light to my life, but my happiness with him lasted only until one night two years ago. That night Kayden died because of me. Half of me died with him. The other half was left to bleed, suffering Hayden's and his friends' constant bullying. Now I must endure one more year before I can finally escape them and go to college. This year has to be different. Either I will become stronger, or they will finally break me into nothing. ----------- Highest rank in Romance: #1 on 10/28/2017 Bullied won the Best Romance and the Best Diverse Book award and the Bullied series won the Best Trilogy/Series award in The Fiction Awards 2018. --------- I wrote this novel for #NaNoWriMo2016 #NaNoWinner2016Complete
30 Days, 30 Stories: A Writing Challenge
This is a 30 day writing challenge, a collection of short stories. I've always been a world class procrastinator. The goal of this challenge is to get me writing regularly and, hopefully, break me of the perfectionist thinking that often paralyses me. The Rules: 1. Write and publish 1 short story (flash fic, vignette) per day for 30 days. 2. Stories must be at least 100 words. 3. They can be of any genre or subject matter. Like a lot of writers I have notebooks lying around full of random story ideas. Most of my older ideas are for novels and screenplays. Been going thru my old ideas and picking out the ones I think lend themselves to the short story format. I'm also working on coming up with NEW ideas that I can use here. Never been good at using prompts, but this is a good opportunity to experiment with those. All the stories here are original works written specifically for this challenge. They were written on the day they were published unless otherwise stated. Any similarities to other writers' work is purely coincidental. Thanks & enjoy! ~Laura, 20 Feb, 2018Complete
