After a space crash that took's the life of his squad colleague, Daniele Hunter believed that his career as a Saber fighter pilot was ruined, physically and psychologically destroyed. After ending a troubled relationship, she sought exile on a one-way mission of interstellar colonization, but she did not expect that on the trip she would meet the aerospace physician Yuri Akimura, something in that gray-bearded man caught her eye.

The technological marvels of virtual reality coupled with the advances in cryogenic and nanorobotic medicine provided a journey for a new star, more beautiful than her own sun, and a planet with natural beauties she only knew in virtual worlds. A romantic advertisement that fed people's dreams. But Daniele knew they were cheap illusions. "Who believes in these bullshit?"

But the discovery of an alien artifact drifting in deep space would change the fate of that mission, to counter an imminent galactic threat, Daniele would have to overcome its ghosts of the past, and together that crew navigate back towards the origin of humanity. Could the human race be much older than we imagined? Or was it all a big alien conspiracy?

*Spin-off novel from the Rising Phoenix Trilogy* Four years after a war she didn't really participate in should've been enough time for Amanda Beauchou to recuperate. It was supposed to have been a slice of adventure - to be a human at the backlines of a war of Drakhenae, non-humans who used to be a myth to her. It wasn't supposed to involve her twin's death, and it wasn't supposed to involve a Drakhenae who whispered promises. But it did, and in the aftermath of her twin's death, her guilt, and the seemingly never-ending wrongdoings, Amanda wants nothing to do with Ivan Romano, the Drakhenae who can't give up. Though, does she really want him to? Ivan Romano thought he knew everything about war, about the high stakes, consequences, and the aftermath. Never, in all his years of underground work and rebelling, did he think it could involve a certain Amanda Beauchou, someone who would haunt his thoughts much longer than the war ever could. But when information gets out of a serum, he knows the war isn't really over, and when Amanda's life becomes in possible danger, the two are thrown back together. Maybe their remains of hope aren't really remains anymore. - This book is rated mature due to some depressing themes and sexually mature scenes (though the latter is marked) - [Word count: 80,000 - 90,000] TSC22 Participant Update 12/16/23: Everything save for the first five chapters will be unpublished as this series will be undergoing a major re-write in the coming months. Highest Rank: #1 Alien 6-21-21 WARNING: This contains Xenophile (Alien / Human smut) If you don't find interest then that, this is not the place to be. Thanks! Or Skip the chapter. 18+ ______________________ The year is 3999. Nearly a thousand years after a alien infection was set loose by the intelligent lifeforms know as Irinaut. No one knows exactly how they were able to make such a infection, but it was capable of destroying nearly all life on Earth. Those who couldn't hide or make it to the ships to escape their home planet, were left for the Irinauts. These alien lifeforms were capable of controlling human bodies, infecting them with their black dust, impregnating fertile human female's, and growing the Irinaut's massive companions, the Yeti's, a less evolved version of the Irinaut. Earth is gone. Nothing more then a ball of dust. After the people fled on ships, they traveled to their new hope. It was a place of solitude. The human race was able to flee from the foreign infection, but for how long? Luna was frozen on the ship. For nearly a 200 years, their ship had traveled. Many people had been placed in a cryogenic state. That of which kept them from aging as they made their way out of the infection. For them, a place of safety, The Solar Sun. The Solar Sun space ship was the closest landing unit in the solar system. Many others would have to be traveled to after refueling and preparing for another two or three centuries of being in a cryogenic state. For Luna, the girl hopes that space would be her escape from the aliens that destroyed their Earth, but that was only the beginning. Upon arrival, the ship is found infested. Luna and a small team of scientists had come in hopes for finding a cure for the strange virus, only to find the virus had taken over most of The Solar Sun, following a few escaped Irinauts. The Solar Sun is their last hope, and their last escape from these beings, but what's to be found there will change everything.

When Mandy loses her job, she thinks she’s hit rock bottom – until her plane is swallowed by a strange storm that sends her and everyone else on board 10,000 years into the future. At first, she thinks the scary world is nothing more than a bad dream. The war-torn Earth is unrecognizable. Black fog blocks the sun, and the oceans are dry. Even worse: the planet is inhabited by half-human, half-alien creatures dying from a mysterious disease. Horrified at the thought of spending her life here, she clings to the knowledge that there’s one man who can open the star gate to send her home. As the Naki prince who controls the star gate, Akkadi gets first choice of any human female that makes her way through the star gate. Only by breeding with purebred humans from the past can his race hope to remain immune to the disease and hopefully, develop an eventual cure. With shrinking resources and a raging battle for the human planet, dutiful, commanding Akkadi is less than thrilled at the idea of trying to figure out Mandy, a woman he views as wild with neither discipline nor respect for someone in his position. He’s ready to write her off, when she offers him something too tempting to resist: her body for the chance to convince him by any means possible to send her home. Neither intends for the arrangement to be permanent or to fall for the other. Only when Mandy learns Akkadi’s secret and walks away does he realize he’ll do whatever it takes to keep her – even if it means losing his war.

Elodie's life changes at the turn of a doorknob when she is forced into joining a secret organization that claims to be protecting the Earth from aliens. But with every step she takes, she finds the organization, or the facility, as they call it, becoming more and more suspicious. When a mysterious death occurs, revealing a well-concealed secret, things quickly go downhill as humanity's future is placed on the shoulders of a single gaggle of teenagers. *** I hear a sigh from the other side of the door, "Miss. Chaucer, you have a wonderful opportunity here, are you going to take it or not?" Now, I am seriously confused, "Opportunity?" She takes advantage of my befuddled state and shoves the door open. Shit. The corners of her mouth pull up, and it's so unnatural, it takes me a moment to realize she's smiling. Major plastic surgery? Probably. Click. Did she just lock the door? She locked the door! I spring towards the house phone, dusty from years of doing absolutely nothing, so I can call the police. I don't make it. Halfway there, I trip on my own pant-leg and face plant on the floor. The woman steps over me and retrieves the phone. She looks at it as if it's a foreign object, "This won't be necessary. All I want to do is talk to you." For some reason, instead of screaming, I stay silent. She smiles and pulls out a chair from the kitchen table for me to sit on. When I don't sit, she says, "If you want to know what's going on, then sit." I think about it for a moment. She hasn't hurt me yet, and I have to admit, I am quite curious as to what's going on. So, call me stupid, but I sit down. "I am from a space organization that protects civilians from . . . outside threats." *** Beautiful cover made by @mahana258!
