Alya only has weeks left for the holiday break, days of planned getaway, hours before new year countdown, minutes lost and seconds from boarding the plane. All things set in her itinerary until her watch broke and things got a little messed up.

This is a short story of a broken watch, missed flight, hotel room, fireworks and an unexpected New Year companion from her past.
