I think we can all agree that Fitz and Keefe have one of the best friendships in the Lost Cities, but how did they become so close?

Ok so I wrote this a few years ago when I was really getting into Keeper of the Lost Cities.  I still love the series but I feel like Shannon Messenger has lost alot of the inspiration and passion that drove her to write the books in the first place.  I hope someone is able to enjoy it, because it's been sitting in my drafts for so long.
