The war is over, the battlefield is now quite. Leaving Hermione with only her thoughts she flees to escape the images of her dead lover that continuously replay in her mind, over and over. Stumbling through the forest with no destination in mind she comes across a natural hot spring in the middle of the forest. Looking down into its crystal depths, she watches, trying desperately to forget the promises that were made to her. When heartbreak and mourning become all too consuming, sometimes the only way to move on is when you strip yourself bare and allow the healing waters of the past cleanse you. ***Rated M for depictions of sexual situations***

In their eighth year at Hogwarts, Draco Malfoy is quietly unraveling. Plagued by crippling depression and anxiety, he battles the weight of his past-his family's betrayal, his role in the war, and the shadows that never seem to fade. Harry Potter, on the other hand, is haunted by the lingering effects of his PTSD, the scars of war still fresh in his mind. Together, they're two broken souls, struggling to function in a world that's moved on without them. When their paths cross once more, a fragile understanding forms between them, each sensing the other's pain. As they grow closer, they find that they might be the only ones who truly understand what the other is going through. Through quiet nights of vulnerability and shared silence, they begin the slow, painful process of healing, learning that sometimes, being broken doesn't mean you can't fix each other. But the road to recovery is never easy, and the shadows of their pasts threaten to tear them apart. Can love be the thing that saves them both? Or will they fall apart before they can ever truly come together?
