For the past fifty years, the kingdom of Florae has never seen a single strand of grass, instead, all they see is the dreaded snow and ice. Florae wasn't always like this though. The kingdom used to be heated by their beloved flower known as the Blossom of Fire but one day, their beloved flower disappeared without a trace causing the cold to come crashing in. Now as the years go by, the cold is getting worse, their highest temperature in the past year being only 10°F causing their food production to decrease even further. People are dying all around and if they don't find some sort of solution soon, they will all perish.
Twenty- one year old, Ashbel Forest, never expected that he would be the one chosen to find the solution. Hand picked by the royal family, Ashbel is forced to make a journey far beyond the borders of the only home he has ever known in order to find the Blossom of Fire. On his journey, Ashbel must face his own fears as he finds new discoveries that he never even imagined existed as well as the dark secrets he uncovers about Florae, the royal family, and even himself. But these secrets might have been better left at secrets, however, now that Ashbel knows the truth, if he's not careful, he could doom his beloved kingdom of Florae. For good.

Centuries ago this was a great planet, now it's a husky shadow of its former beauty. Though the remnants of its former magic still linger it was destroyed by power hungry scientists. More tests to make more technology to go further, faster more this more that. Boom It all went up in flames, radiation spilled out into South America from the global power station in Brazil. The nuclear plant 15 times that of Chernobyl blew its top. The initial explosion flattened Brazil and the shockwaves were felt from the Florida keys. But the thing that truly ruined the world was the nuclear fallout. it rained down everywhere turning the world into a desolate wasteland deserts for miles and miles. Now you live in districts to survive, but what's the good in just being a number. Why would you look forward to a future of infant nothing, can you run from that? Where would you go? Where have the people who have escaped gone? Is that a future? What if there's someone who got left behind?
