As the subject of an ancient prophecy, Nina knows her fate is to kill the Emperor and lead her people out of hiding.

Or so she thought.

When Mali shipwrecks on the secluded isle, Nina is drawn to her strange charisma. But only those of pure Araluen blood can find this enchanted isle, and with rounded ears and ebony hair, Mali is anything but. Even more mysteriously, Mali appears to be from before the Araluen people were forced into hiding, over 200 years ago. To top that off, Nina discovers that Mali possesses the same magic she has. The ability to control time is only supposed to be wielded by The Dancer of Time, the one spoken of in the prophecy.

And with all of these mysteries, Mali brings a different version of the prophecy Nina has been told all her life. Instead of saving the world, The Dancer of Time supposedly destroys it.

With Nina's whole existence thrown into question, she soon realizes that Mali might be her only key to the truth. Together, they embark on a journey to unravel the secrets of not only their own fates, but that of the world's.

Niccola is a demi-queen undercover in enemy territory. Her little sister went missing seven moons ago, but one lead remains: a picture of a woman's face, drawn by a diviner shortly after the disappearance. Tracking her down has led Niccola to Calis, the realm next door whose border with her own remains closed for a reason. There, the trail goes cold. Until, that is, Niccola runs into a man in the marketplace who bears a family resemblance to the woman she seeks. His name is Isaiah, crown prince of Calis, and he's investigating disappearances, too. They join forces, faking courtship to sneak Niccola into the palace and get Isaiah's wedding-minded mother off his back. It doesn't take long to suspect that a common threat might underpin both their realms' problems. And as Niccola begins to develop real feelings for Isaiah, she's faced with an impossible choice: reveal her secrets and risk breaking his trust, or leave him in order to chase down the woman who stole her sister... a woman whose forbidden magic comes with a cost that could bring both realms to ruin. ❖❖❖ Complete and fully edited. They invited me to their masquerade. Three cursed brothers- One a warrior. One an assassin. One a prince. I'm just an ordinary, nerdy, twenty-three-year-old girl. (I mean, my hobbies include writing fanfiction and caring for my collection of succulents.) I don't know anything about magic. And I have no idea why these brothers want me. But as they draw me into their enchanted world, they tell me I'm the only one who can save them from their curse. I only hope my heart is prepared for what's to come.
