Practically born on stage, Maybelle was a pageant pro. She was flawless on stage. Every move she made was indescribbable. But behind all that make-up was a beautiful girl. She had the most beautiful sunny hazel eyes and the lightest brown hair. She loved being in pageants. Or so everyone thought. Going to so many routine practices, dress shopping, smiling, walking in heels. Maybelle dreaded every second of it. I think the money was the only thing her Mother cared about. With all the pageants, she really couldn't juggle homework and projects for school. Her Mother had homeschooled her since Kindergarten on her beautiful home up in the hills. She had no real friends except for the snobby, bratty sixteen year olds that she competed with. Though, she didn't consider them her friends. She had no boys to crush on either. All she ever wanted was to go to a regular high school with regular people. And cute boys. Can her Mother come to an agreement with Maybelle quitting pageants? And will High School be what she really think it is? Or will she have to be stuck in pageants for the rest of her life?

I never wanted this life, I wanted a normal one not having to turn every second wondering if there was someone wanting to kill you. I never liked this life, I had just adapted to it. Survived, until it was time for me to meet my Maker. I was the emotionless doll you played with when you were younger. The doll that you could draw so much make up on her to make her look pretty or at least a little different, but her face expression would remain the same. I was the girl your mom would say no to us playing together. The girl that could hold a gun with only 2 bullets and still kill you while your moving. I am Allyssa West, the girl who was called dangerous because I would walk right through hell just to kill you. But don't tell anyone what I've told you because its just a secret. My secret.
