"Chaos: The Spark Behind the Muse" ay kwento ng isang 22-year old na babae, Accountancy student sa isang mamahaling University sa Manila. Siya si Vee, na naging bihag ng kanyang mga sakit at takot. Iniwan ng pamilya at ipinagkatiwala sa mayamang lola, pinilit niyang magpatuloy sa buhay, subalit ang kalungkutan mula sa pagkakahiwalay sa pamilya ay naghatid sa kanya sa madilim na landas. Sa bawat hakbang, nagiging mahirap ang pagkontrol sa kaguluhan sa kanyang buhay-pag-takas sa gabi, clubbing, at pagkalulong sa bawal na gamot dulot ng pag-sama sa iba ibang kaibigan. Lahat ng ito ay naging paraan ni Viena upang matakasan ang kanyang pinagdadaanan, ngunit hindi nito naalis ang sakit sa kanyang puso. "Kassauni, there is more to life than continuous pain and suffering. I am sure you know that, and no one is asking you to go through it alone," She told me. I took a long drag from the blunt and held it in my lungs before releasing it. "Whatever yah talk 'bout sound like a fairy tale and mi nuh want yuh feel like me is a problem fi yuh fix," I stated, staring into her eyes. She frowned, deeply. "You need to talk to someone, or me. I am here for you if you need anything." Her voice came out softer than usual. "Rosalia, left that. It nuh concern yuh," I told her. She hissed her teeth and slapped the blunt out of my hand. He isn't the most sentimental guy, probably one of the most nonchalant and controlling people you've ever met. She was sweet and came from what people would call the perfect family. In a short time, she made him indecisive and question himself. Peeled away every armor he had shielding his insecurities. She broke him but stood by him while he rebuilt himself into a better man. Walking into an empty house is normal to me. I guess I got tired of saying 'I'm home' when nobody is home to reply. It wasn't always like this. I remember when our family was close. Now we don't see each other any more. We don't talk to each other. We don't eat with each other. We don't ACKNOWLEDGE each other. This all happened after my 'Mother' killed herself. My father blames me. This is my story about how I learned to not count on anyone else but myself. I'm broken. I'm used. No one can fix me. But when the New Boy in town tries to fix me, everything will change. Good change or Bad change, I don't know. Only time will tell. Umpisa pa lang alam ko sa sarili ko na hindi mo naman susuklian ang pagmamahal na nararamdaman ko para sa'yo. Una pa lang alam ko ng kapatid lang ang tingin mo sa akin habang sa kaniya tingin mo ay magiging asawa at maging nanay ng mga anak mo. Alam ko. Sa umpisa pa lang alam na alam ko. Pero kahit totoong alam ko sa sarili ko ang bagay na 'yan. Mas pinili kong magbulagbulagan kasi akala ko makikita mo din ako, hindi bilang kaibigan o kapatid kundi bilang isang babae. Akala ko sa paglipas ng panahon ay matututunan mo din akong mahalin at piliin kahit pa iniwan ka niya. Akala ko mapapalitan ko siya sa puso mo. Ngunit sa paglipas ng panahon. Mas lalong maging malinaw ang lahat. Naging sobrang linaw na hindi na kayang maging bulag bulagan. Hindi ko maiwasang mag tanong kung anong mali sa sarili ko. Ako naman yung nandito sa tabi mo pero bakit hindi ako? Bakit kahit wala na siya ay kalaban ko pa din siya diyan sa puso mo? Bakit kahit wala na siya ay kahati ko pa din siya sa diyan sa atensyon mo? Ang ilang relasyon nagkakusog samtang nagdamgo sila og kaugmaon nga magkauban. Apan ang ilang sugilanon nausab og kalit nga kasakit human mamatay si Lanny tungod sa aneurysm, ug si Dancho nahabilin nga naglibog ug nangita og tubag. Samtang si Dancho nag-struggle nga mopadayon, nisulod siya sa usa ka journey sa pagpangita sa iyang kaugalingon, nangutana kung unsa gyud ang tinuod nga gugma ug unsa'y mahitabo niini kung mawala ang usa ka minahal.
