Someone to be there for her when she needs it the most. Chris Pierce is a country boy, born and raised. With only his Uncle to guide him through life, he doesn't have much to live for. His life is two things. His horse, and his job. Until he meets Peyton, he doesn't think that life is anything more than that. When Chris is drafted in the army, things start to change for both of them. Life isn't just some love story that has a perfect ending anymore.
