I watched him laugh

That sweet sound from his lips

My heart ached.

His existence lights up the whole room, while I fill it with shadows

A pure and innocent being, surrounded by many, whilst I am alone

But most of all, his eyes.

The enchanting pair of orbs gazing at the eyes of greedy individuals.

He smiles,
Watching the reaction of many people swooning over the simple act.

My Demons yearn him.

He smirks at my direction, noticing the stare he was receiving from me

I watched as others took his attention, his back facing me.

His mind forgetting our little interaction, his mind losing the image of my existence.

But it's alright

This is how it's always been,

So near, yet so far.

He lives in the Light, while I live in the shadows

We can always dream of catching the stars, but catching and chasing them has always been a fiction to our reality.

Love is just like magic, but even magic is just an illusion.

He dances in the light, while I dance in the shadows.
