The world in My Hero Academia has been flipped upside down when this disastrous event happened. With more reports of the incident, not just from Japan, but all over the world have reached a widespread epidemic. However, it has finally reached to it's breaking point and soon it became 'doomsday' all over the world. Inside the city, it was far from safe. People were either killed from the bites or from the riots. Ten years went by. The city's filled with blood thirsty zombies along with survivors who are just trying to get through it all one day at a time. Among many others inside the city was a 15 year old boy named Izuku Midoriya. In this AU, he will reach his breaking point and thought that all hope is lost, when he comes across a group of scouts who found him and brought him to the deep part of the forest where there are villages inside and away from the city. This AU will have most of the the characters from the show My Hero Academia and there will be some ships that I will include in the story, but before I can continue, I want to point out that I do not owe the show or the characters (other than a few of my OC's), I am just a fan who just wanted to write this AU for fun. But beware, this AU will be a bit graphic in details so you have been warned.

My name is Cassy woods I am 16, I have always been the quiet one, avoiding the spotlight, trying my best to stay out of trouble. Now in a world devastated by death and disease thats the best thing to do. ~~~~~~~~~~ Two years ago a disease broke out, killing people.. however it didn't stop there it brought the dead back..... But they weren't the same, they killed and ate anything that moved. The government decided to bomb the cities most infected to slow the spread, but that just made things so much worse. That's not what I fear though, what I fear most is the people who are left. The people we were are gone, and people will do anything it takes to survive.. if there is one thing I would tell the old me it's fight the dead... but fear the living. (Sorry walking dead I love that quote)

I never believed it would end like this. I was just watching Netflix when the power went out, then before I knew it everyone was screaming, then the school began to shake and fell to the ground. Only three kids in my entire school were spared, four if you count me. I found a group of people heading to the east coast for a boat trip to a supposed safe haven in India. They died of disease days later. I found their bodies by the river. But I guess this is my life now, surviving with a scared boy, a pair of twins and trying to make it to the next day. Nothing is what it was. No one is who they were. The world fell taking many with it. I used to be afraid, but like many others I have changed. I am still alive and will do whatever it takes to keep it that way. The two most important things I have learned is TRUST NO ONE and RUN FAST!!

I was drowning. I knew that. I also knew that the hands around my throat, pushing me deeper into the river water was the cause. What I didn't know was who was drowning me and why. It hurt thinking. It hurt to do anything right now. But I still screamed under the cold water and pushed the hands away as hard as I could. It didn't have much effect. I fought and fought, but I was getting weaker, and colder. The pain was overbearing. I couldn't breathe. It was the worst pain imaginable; and as the hands that were around my neck were forcibly ripped off by some unknown force, I slipped deeper into the depths of the river. My hair was straight above me along with my arms. My eyes were open and the water burned. A darkness started to pull me under, taking the pain away. I felt a small pressure around my waist, before the darkness completely consumed me. The last thing I remember is thinking, save me.

There were about three things I knew right this moment. One, my parents are dead. Two, my friends and their families are dead. And three?... Ah, yes. Three. Well, the hunters behind me are about to try and make sure I follow in the other's lead. I'd explain everything now, but at the moment I have to run and probably fight for my life...
