Destiny’s Experiments are going to change the world. They have to after all, Destiny chose them to do it. If it hadn’t then why else would one of the children be the Greatest Weapon in History? Why would the other be able to control the beast within the hero? But our little Experiments won’t be able to safe anyone if they’re stuck within the LAB of which they were born and tamper with. So how will they do what Destiny has chosen out for them? How will they follow that path?

While hundreds and hundreds of years passed, the monsters kept evolving and the people kept adapting while still trying to keep a sort of community. They didn't want to lose all of their humanity and become nothing more than animals that hunted the monsters: then they would truly be no better than the monsters themselves.
